BAPE Teases New Collaboration With DC Comics
In the summer of 2007, revered streatwear giant BAPE teamed up with DC Comics on a collection that put every comic book fan over the moon. Placing the publishers famed superheroes front and center, the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Superman were emblazoned on T-shirts, hoodies and crewnecks. The capsule even featured a range of BAPESTAs inspired by the aforementioned heroes custom colors and a set of collectable toys.
Now 12 years later, the two giants look to be teaming up once again on a new joint collection that will be sure to sell out. Taking to its social media account earlier today, BAPE teased out three posts, one featuring Batmans logo in yellow and black camo; one of Supermans logo done up in red and blue camo; and finally BAPEs ubiquitous Ape Head logo placed next to DC Comics insignia colored in with red 1st CAMO.
