Mark Cuban owns the Dallas Mavericks along with a range of companies. Stars on Shark Tank. Is a killer salesperson. Hates meetings. Is a really nice guy.
And is worth an estimated $4 billion.
Since no one does anything worthwhile completely on their own, someone that successful has clearly received a lot of great advice along the way.
So what does Cuban consider to be the best advice he's ever gotten?
"Today is the youngest you will ever be. Live like it." According to Cuban, the advice:
"Came from my dad. His point was that as we reach bigger numbers we tend to think we are old. Then we look back and realize just how young we were and didn't experience things we wanted to do because we felt we were old."
It's all a matter of perspective. Today is the youngest you will ever be. But it also feels like the oldest, because it is. You've never been older.
Every day, people let hesitation and uncertainty stop them from acting on their dreams.
Think about a few of the ideas you've had: whether for a new business, a side hustle, or a new career.
