Even though the majority of XXXTentacion fans are celebrating this news - others, mainly his core fans are disappointed in everything that's been going on. The brand new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is finally here! For the C8 generation the car has a major shift to becoming a mid-engined supercar. Join me at the world premier to see the new Corvette revealed in person and up close for the first time!
After 7 generations over 66 years and 1.7 million cars produced with an engine in front, the the C8, the new Corvette has gone mid engined. Heavy focus has still been placed on keeping the car usable, practical and daily driveable while upping the sports characteristics and dynamic capability.
In the back is a 6.2l naturally aspirated V8 making 502hp (495bhp) and 637nm (470ft-lb) that means the new Stingray can gallop to 60mph in under 3 seconds! The engine is mated to a new 8 speed dual clutch gearbox from Tremec but to purists dismay no manual option is available from new. A new Z mode is added to allow even more customisation of driving settings and modes too.
On the inside is a very driver focused setup up, with a 12" digital dashboard and an infotainment system free from clutter. However there's a central console spine housing many of the controls which might not be particularly intuitive and also impeding the passenger space - this car is clearly for the driver! In terms of luggage space, there are trunks front and rear, the latter being large enough to house two sets of golf clubs behind the engine itself.

The Ferrari P80/C is the latest Special Project to be delivered, and for the first time it is a model based on a racing product from Maranello; the Ferrari 488 GT3. As the ultimate, unique and bespoke one-off racing car that you could possibly buy it features many individual and historical touches so let's check it out and take a first look.
The 36th Special Project has been in the works for 4 years since being commissioned in 2015, and is a break away from the norm being developed on a racecar platform rather than the more familiar road car line-up. Without the rules of homologation for the road or even for a specific racing series, the P80/C includes nods back to the 330 P3/P4, 206 SP and 250 LM in a specific Rosso Vera paint colour. Powered by the 3.9l twin turbo V8 it also creates 690hp with plenty of downforce but also with a dual soul as the rear wing can be removed and different wheels placed on it for concours display.

Join me at SMS Design and Performance to take a Corvette ZR1 with ZTK package with the low-drag wing for a drive to discover all about it. Kicking off with a walkaround to take in details like the engine bay where the carbon top cover makes part of the bonnet, to the facts and figures, it's then time to bring it into life. Out on the roads in a small convoy with a 911 GT3 and a WRX STi we go exploring and can take in the thunderous V8 grumble as well as the sheer ferocity of the power with 755bhp (765PS) and 969nm - incredible numbers and substantially up from the 650PS and 881nm of the previous Corvette Z06.

Sandra Butler-Truesdale, born in the capital in the 1930s, references an often-forgotten trauma — and one of the conceptual underpinnings of the Jim Crow era — when she recalls that Negroes who shopped in major stores were not allowed to try on clothing before they bought it. Store owners at the time offered a variety of racist rationales, including that Negroes were insufficiently clean. At bottom, the practice reflected the irrational belief that anything coming in contact with African-American skin — including clothing, silverware or bed linens — was contaminated by blackness, rendering it unfit for use by whites.

If you like all things Ferrari, then this collection is something you have to see! I had the opportunity to explore the private garage featuring some of the rarest models like the LaFerrari, SA Aperta and Koenig 512 BB, as well as the cars being joined by some incredible Ferrari memorabilia, all presented like it's a museum - but belonging to one individual collector.
With huge thanks to the owner, we can look through in detail at the 12 cars on display in the collection including a Schumacher Formula 1 car, 512 BB Koenig, F355 Fiorano Edition, 550 Barchetta, 512M, 599 GTO, LaFerrari, SA Aperta, 360 Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia 16M, a tailor-made California T and an earlier Lusso. Alongside the cars though are some unique Ferrari pieces from a life-size red horse to a Ferrari logo chandelier with unlimited model cars in between.
What you are seeing is just part of the full collection, it extends in total to 40 Ferraris that are stored around the world. However, as a way to store and diplays such special Ferrari cars, it couldn't really get much better! Thanks again to the owner for allowing me to share this with you, I hope you enjoy looking around.

I had a truly special opportunity to drive the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign! With a price tag of €1m plus taxes (or approx $1.2m) it's a celebration for the 50th anniversaries of both GT-R and Italdesign with a totally new look formed on a Nismo GT-R. With very few outings to date, this is a really exclusive opportunity to get a feel for what it's like.
The GT-R50 by Italdesign has an entirely new body wrapped over the latest generation of Nismo GT-R. It sits 54mm lower and as such as a very sleep appearance, with significantly more attractive bodywork than found on the regular GT-R models. In terms of performance it has a 3.8l TT V6 but now runs 710hp/780nm instead of the stock 600hp/652nm, with a reinforced gearbox, diff and driveshafts with improved Bilstein suspension and Brembo brakes too.
During my visit to Dubai, I was invited to head to the Dubai Autodrome to take part in an experience with the car out on track alongside perspective customers, giving me a very rare opportunity to present the GT-R50 to you on video. Of course it was a fantastic day, and an amazing chance to drive! Joining me in the video is Suhail Jefferies, father of racing driving Axcil Jefferies.

There's crazy, there's crazier, and then there's Snowcat! It's a Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT with a widebody, loud exhaust, air suspension, and most importantly almost 1,000hp from the supercharged V8. I met up with Osama to experience the car, and take it for a drive to see what it's all about!
I've seen a mix of automotive genres during my Bahrain trip, from the Huracan EVO at the circuit to the most incredible car collection in the world, and now something different with a touch of American muscle in the form of the Dodge Hellcat. Having not previously featured the Hellcat or a Demon too, it seemd appropriate to get a feel for what it's like while also visiting SMS Design & Performance to see some of the work in motion on other projects.
After take a ride in the passenger seat, and then visiting SMS, it's time for a driver swap for me to get a feel for the power out of Snowcat. With just a few small stretches it's already pretty clear that this thing means business and is very happy to snake all over the road on demand. Thanks to @snowcat_srt for the drive!

The Acura NSX is one of the modern era's least appreciated supercars. Its highly advanced SH-AWD system is comprised of a Twin-Turbo V6 with a supplemental electric motor attached, as well as two more motors in the front wheels. It's incredibly complex, but what it does in the real world is give you 90% of the million-dollar Porsche 918, with a similar setup, at less than 1/5th of the price. It's a great balance of staggering performance and daily usability. The 2019 version features subtle but significant updates to the suspension, brakes, tires, and ECU/TCU/AWD system.
Acura provided the vehicle, insurance, and a tank of fuel for this review.

Join me back at Gtechniq to see the magic results of ceramic coating on my Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition! Having been left for a full detailing, preparation and application of Crystal Serum Ultra, the before and after comparison is really quite fascinating...
Ceramic coating can be professionally applied directly to paintwork, or even over a car with Paint Protection Film -such as my Ford GT or McLaren Senna that are being worked on by Topaz - and the results are really quite intriguing. The main benefits are an increase in the ease with which you can clean the car due to how simply anything will run off it as you'll see in the beading comparison test, and as a result the reduction in swirl marks that traditionally come from cleaning. Although it won't fully protect from a stone chip as PPF would, it gives an incredible finish visually and in feel on the surfaces. As mentioned, ceramic coating can actually be applied over the top of PPF as well to maximise the protection for the car and Topaz are an authorised installer for Gtechniq's products.
In addition, the car has had a complete runover at the Gtechniq Works training centre, including interior surfaces prepped to prevent absorbing of liquids, the plastic parts rejuvenated, and also the wheels too. The end result is a car that will stay cleaner, look brighter, and last in great shape much longer.

Since opening in 2002, Porsche's production facility in Leipzig, Germany has been responsible for manufacturing more than 160,000 vehicles each year. Here's a look at what goes on behind the doors of this state-of-the-art car factory.

In the automotive industry and car buying world, the name Porsche remains synonymous with luxury and high-performance. After over 70 years of churning out one iconic vehicle after another, it's clear why the brand maintains an acclaimed reputation. For those wondering what goes into building cars of such quality, the answer can be found at Porsches factory in Leipzig, Germany. Since opening its doors in 2002, the facility has been responsible for manufacturing over 160,000 vehicles per year. Here the automaker manufactures its popular Panamera executive car and Macan SUV.
The process starts in the factorys two body shops. A total of 475 robots are used to assemble the Panameras frame and outer shell, while 387 help put together what will become the Macan. The two models are built from hundreds of individual steel and aluminum parts using a combination of flow drilling, punch riveting, laser beam welding, and clinching. Once acceptance inspections are completed by workers, its on to the paint shop.
The first coat of paint each vehicle receives is an electrophoretic coating used for corrosion protection. Each body is dipped in a basin of electrophoretic dip paint for five minutes and turned on its axis for maximum coverage. Next, the welding seams of the vehicle are sealed with special PVC materials. Painting robots apply filler on the inside and outside of the vehicle that protects the topcoat against damages while simultaneously boosting its brilliance. Finally, the basecoat and clearcoat are applied before the body is put through a 35-minute drying process at 275° F. After drying, all vehicles are put through an intense visual inspection in the paint shops light tunnel that are fitted with long strips of LED tubes.
The assembly line is where freshly-painted body shells become luxury performance cars. All doors are removed to allow employees to begin installing the vehicles cockpit. Depending on the version and fitting, a cockpit may consist of up to 200 individual parts. Vehicle doors are taken to a separate line where they are fitted with windows, outside mirrors, exterior door handles, seals and trims. The vehicles underbody is then assembled, being fitted with brake lines, fuel lines, the fuel tank and more. Next, robots fit the front and back windows and then bond them into place. The main headlights, rear and front seats, side airbags, the battery, and accelerator pedal are also installed. The iconic Porsche badge is then fit into place and all doors are reattached. The transmission and powertrain components are attached to the delivered engine, which is put through extensive quality control testing. An automated guided vehicle system is then used for marrying the engine, chassis, and body to one another. Following the climactic marriage and engine wiring, fuel, coolant, and brake fluid are filled into the vehicle, and all four wheels are mounted.
After some last-minute tuning and time on the chassis dynamometer, the entire process concludes with a thorough inspection that takes place on the factorys test track.
