These makers are fighting coronavirus with 3D printers

3D printers across the country have been churning out protective medical equipment to fight coronavirus while traditional manufacturing lags. Masks and ventilators are just some of the supplies being printed. We spoke with makers, researchers, and 3D printing companies to hear firsthand what this push has been like during the COVID-19 pandemic, and why this is a “time to shine” for 3D printing.
