We recently sat down with Virginia rapper Denise Peaches for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation she discussed growing up in Danville, growing up in a broken environment, her mom not being involved in her life, having to fend for her own as a teen, joining the military, pursuing her rap career in 2015, dealing with her childhood trauma as an adult, started taking music serious as soon as she was in the military, not really having family support when it comes to her music, having rough skin when it comes to rejection and her career, her new single “D.I.B.”, shooting her music video for “Slut Friday” in Miami, her single “Mad” being inspired by a bad breakup, coming out with a project very soon, wanting to raise a family in a future, advice to the youth and more!
